"I thought it was a great performance. They made it hard for us, West Ham. They were hard to break down but I thought we played excellently in the second half. Yes, we scored with an own goal but we could have scored two or three more. We defended so well and I don't think Henderson had a proper save to make all day."

FT
It's a well-deserved win for the Reds against a top-four rival. United certainly created the majority of the chances and, although we were forced to defend in the last 20 minutes, the Hammers didn't create many clear-cut opportunities. Solskjaer's men move up to second in the table thanks to Dawson's own-goal, as we head into a huge week of action.

Daniel James becomes the fourth Red to have his name taken, for a foul on Said Benrahma.
90 MINS + 1
The fourth official's board is up - we've got three minutes left to play.
86 MINS
West Ham have certainly enjoyed more of the ball in the last 20 minutes and the Reds have been forced into some stretched defending at times, but it certainly hasn't been backs-to-the-wall stuff. We've also created plenty of chances on the break. It's just crucial the Reds remain focused in the last few minutes.
82 MINS
Luke Shaw has been excellent going forward again but has just made a vital block inside his own box which drew ripples of applause from those inside the ground. It's the sort of spirit which can hopefully help see United over the line here as we've not managed to kill the game off and West Ham remain a real threat.
80 MINS
The Czech midfielder smashes an effort inside the box, but Luke Shaw stops it en route to goal. What a piece of defending from the left-back.
78 MINS
For the second time in the game, Mason strikes the post. The no.11 countered after a period of West Ham pressure and he powered one from the edge of the box with his left foot, only to see it crash off the woodwork. So unlucky from the forward.
76 MINS
Marcus has his name taken by the referee for a sliding challenge on Coufal.
