Manchester United's final pre-season game against Fiorentina at Old Trafford promises to be a lively occasion, with over 50,000 tickets for the game already sold.
Ruben Amorim's squad are heading back to a revamped Carrington from the American leg of Tour 2025, presented by Snapdragon, and now have our final warm-up game, against La Viola, firmly in our sights.
The same is true of the more than 50,000 fans already booked to attend Saturday's (9 August) outing, with excitement ever increasing as the new season draws near.
There's plenty to look forward to for those already with tickets in the bag. Yet to secure your place? Act fast to ensure you don't miss out on the action!
Supporters lucky enough to be in attendance may be treated to a glimpse of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo's first minutes at Old Trafford as United players.
Cunha is staring down what could be his fourth outing as a Red after appearances against Leeds United, West Ham United and Everton, as he settles into life with his new team-mates.
Mbeumo's later signing put him slightly further back in his pre-season preparations, but he made his maiden appearance against the Toffees in United's final Stateside game of Tour 2025, suggesting he should be ready for action in some capacity for Fiorentina's visit.
New faces will not be the only order of the day at the Theatre of Dreams, as the Italian club will bring with them a renowned former Red in David De Gea.
The Spanish keeper spent 12 years with the club, encompassing Premier League, Europa League, Emirates FA Cup and League Cup triumphs, and is returning for the first time as a player since departing the club in 2023, should La Viola boss Stefano Pioli select him on the day.
De Gea, along with our new signings and the rest of the United squad, will undoubtedly receive a warm welcome from a bustling Old Trafford before we get down to business, putting in the finishing touches on a solid pre-season ahead of Arsenal's visit just over a week later.
