Anthony Elanga is among the 40 players nominated for the Golden Boy award.
Initially beginning with a 100-player list in the summer, two rounds of voting has seen it whittled down to 40.
Elanga is among the brightest prospects to make it beyond the initial voting and joins 39 other highly rated youngsters on the esteemed list.
The 20-year-old enjoyed somewhat of a breakout period during Ralf Rangnick's interim period last season, culminating in his memorable goal away to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Erik ten Hag has also shown faith in him this season, and in response The Sweden international has delivered some key performances for the Reds, including a standout display in our 2-1 win over Liverpool last month.
Our winger is joined by prestigious company on the list, too, with the likes of Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, and Jamal Musiala also among the nominees.
