Congratulations to our captain Bruno Fernandes, who has won the Premier League's Player of the Month award for March.
Fernandes, who also scooped the club's prize, was in sensational form during the period, scoring six goals in five games across all competitions.
Two of those came in the top-flight, with our no.8 opening the scoring against Arsenal in a fiercely contested 1-1 draw when he curled home a sumptuous free-kick in front of the Stretford End.
He also netted our third and final goal at Leicester City the following weekend, having teed up efforts for Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho earlier in the evening.
Bruno won our Man of the Match awards after both encounters and has now been voted the league's leading player of March, seeing off competition from Anthony Elanga and Declan Rice, among others.
It's a fifth triumph in the category for Fernandes, as he emulates a pair of former United greats in Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie.
All four of Bruno's previous wins were achieved during his first year with the club, as he came out on top in votes at the end of February, June, November and December 2020.
There are now only five men who have ever been named Player of the Month more times than Fernandes, with the award running since the start of the 1994/95 campaign.
Steven Gerrard and Cristiano Ronaldo won it six times, and the Portuguese holds the record for the longest gap between his first and last successes, which span from March 2008 to the most recent in September 2021.
Mohamed Salah has won twice already this season, therefore joining Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane at the summit of this particular list on seven.
