Fernandes up for March's PFA Player of the Month

Bruno Fernandes's recent form could be rewarded with another award, which you can help him add to his growing collection for 2025/26.

Our magnificent skipper has been nominated for the PFA Premier League Fans' Player of the Month accolade for March, and you can vote for him here.

United Academy graduates James Garner and Danny Welbeck, now of Everton and Brighton respectively, are among Bruno's competition for the prize.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon and Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White complete the six-man shortlist.

This nomination comes after Bruno won our own Player of the Month award for March, and scooped the Premier League's corresponding prize too.

The Portugal international contributed two goals and four assists during the period, as United faced Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

His penalties against Palace and Bournemouth were nerveless, and he teed up our winner against the former too, crossing for Benjamin Sesko to head home.

Fernandes's dead-ball deliveries also set up Casemiro's headers at Newcastle and at home to Villa, but perhaps his best assist of the month was the incisive pass that put Matheus Cunha on his way to score in the victory over Villa.

Our no.8 could become the third United player to win the PFA trophy this season.

Benjamin Sesko is the current holder after receiving it for his February form, while Bryan Mbeumo claimed October's accolade.

A reminder that you can vote for Bruno here.
