England recognition for young Reds

There are seven Manchester United representatives in the younger England sides for the upcoming international fixtures.

There are four Reds in the England Under-20s squad alone, as they prepare for a home game against Switzerland at St George's Park on Friday (13:00 BST kick-off).

Shea Lacey has been awarded his first call-up at this level, with the 18-year-old rewarded for his recent form.

Defender Ayden Heaven is also included again, with two of our Academy loanees - Elyh Harrison (Shrewsbury Town) and Ethan Wheatley (Northampton Town) - also remaining part of coach Ben Futcher's plans.

Gabriele Biancheri is with Wales Under-21s after spending time with Canada in May.

Jack Fletcher and Harry Amass, who is gaining experience in the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday, are in the England Under-19s squad for matches against Belgium and Wales.

The games are being held in Spain on Saturday 11 October and Tuesday 14 October respectively.

We also have a representative in our former Academy coach Neil Ryan's England Under-18s group, as Bendito Mantato prepares for two friendlies against France, on Thursday and Sunday.

In terms of those participarting in Under-21s fixtures, Gabriele Biancheri is back with Wales, and gets a maiden call at this level, while Jacob Devaney and Jack Moorhouse (who is on loan at Leyton Orient) have been selected by Republic of Ireland. A reminder that Leny Yoro is on France Under-21 duty.

Dan Armer and Tyler Fletcher are with Scotland Under-19s and, also competing in the same age group are Samuel Lusale (Slovakia), United's two-goal hero at Middlesbrough in our last Under-18s outing at the weekend, Rafe McCormack (Republic of Ireland), Jay McEvoy (Republic of Ireland) and Will Murdock (Northern Ireland).

Best of luck to all our youngsters for their international endeavours during the break!
