Ten Hag makes four changes for Villa game

Erik ten Hag has made four changes for Manchester United's Premier League game away to Aston Villa (14:00 BST).

The Reds head to the Midlands searching for a first league win since the 3-0 win over Southampton on 14 September.

Our opponents, Aston Villa, fly into the match high on Wednesday night's 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League, and are unbeaten since a 2-0 home defeat to Arsenal back in August.

Following Thursday's madcap 3-3 draw against FC Porto in Europe, Ten Hag has made the following four adjustments to the starting XI that began in Portugal.

Poll: Who will be United's standout performer at Villa Park?

There are arguably two bits of headline news, the first being Kobbie Mainoo's return to the line-up. The midfielder has not played since being withdrawn during the first half of last weekend's Premier League game against Spurs.

In defence, United's hero in Porto, Harry Maguire, earns a starting spot alongside Jonny Evans at the centre of our back four.

There's also a place in the XI for Alejandro Garnacho, who is partnered by Bruno Fernandes, Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford in attack.
