How to watch and follow United v Bournemouth

Manchester United face another Monday night assignment, when hosting Bournemouth in a 20:00 GMT kick-off.

The Reds go into the contest in good heart after a resounding 4-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the same time slot and will be keen to maintain a league position within the European places.

After disappointing results against Everton and West Ham United at the Theatre of Dreams, Ruben Amorim's side will be looking to overcome the Cherries, as we, again, compete in the final fixture of this matchweek.

TEAM NEWS

We're awaiting an update on Matthijs de Ligt's availability, after he missed the past two games, with Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko also sidelined of late.

Ayden Heaven has started the West Ham and Wolves clashes in the Netherlands international's absence, while there is still some doubt over the availability of Noussair Mazraoui, Amad and Bryan Mbeumo due to the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The Cherries are boosted by the return of influential midfielder Tyler Adams, after suspension, but Lewis Cook remains banned, following his red card in the 3-2 defeat at Sunderland.

Andoni Iraola suggested Marcos Senesi was only experiencing cramp in the 0-0 draw with Chelsea last time out and fellow centre-back Veljko Milosavljevic is also likely to be available, despite some concern over a knee injury.

Ryan Christie and Ben Gannon-Doak are ruled out but star man Antoine Semenyo is definitely available as Ghana did not qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.

FORM GUIDE

United's win at Wolves means we have only lost once in our last nine games, the shock 1-0 reverse to 10-man Everton at Old Trafford.

It also secured back-to-back victories on the road in the Premier League and lifted us into sixth spot in the table, only behind Chelsea on goal difference.

Bournemouth are winless in their last six outings and have suffered defeat in each of their last three away matches.

The south-coast side have won 3-0 on their last two visits to the Theatre of Dreams, though, and are certain to be tough opponents.

DID YOU KNOW?

Opta have revealed this is the first time United have had back-to-back league fixtures on a Monday night since January 2018.

Jose Mourinho's side won 2-0 at Everton, thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.

That was followed, two weeks later, by a 3-0 victory at home to Stoke City. Antonio Valencia, Martial and Romelu Lukaku did the damage against the Potters.

However, there was an FA Cup tie in between those games, with Derby County knocked out at Old Trafford, with the Reds winning 2-0.

Antonio Valencia scored with his weaker left foot in a Monday night win against Stoke City.
