Wembley final awaits United’s Lionesses

Manchester United’s Lionesses all played their part as England defeated Sweden 4-0 to advance to the final of Euro 2022 on Tuesday evening.

Having topped Group A in the tournament on home soil following three wins from three, England’s women defeated Spain in last week’s quarter-final before another statement victory in the last four, this time over Sweden.

The win sees the Lionesses advance to a first major-tournament final since 2009, with a bumper crowd at Wembley Stadium expected on Sunday.
