Cunha, Leon and the Reds report for training

The first group of Manchester United players returned to Carrington on Monday morning, ready to start pre-season training under Ruben Amorim.

The opening wave includes summer signings Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon, following their transfers from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cerro Porteno respectively.

The two recruits were greeted warmly by their new team-mates inside the training ground’s canteen, as captured by our official photographers – check out the exclusive shots in the galleries below.

WHO’S AT CARRINGTON?

It was confirmed earlier this month that the players will report back to Carrington across the course of this week.

As is the norm at this time of year, they are all following individual schedules and the training group will evolve as we build towards Tour 2025.

Amad, Harry Amass, Toby Collyer, Matthijs de Ligt, Tyler Fredricson, Tom Heaton, Ayden Heaven, Kobbie Mainoo, Noussair Mazraoui, Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Luke Shaw and Joshua Zirkzee were all pictured arriving, as well as new signings Cunha and Leon.

Once they had changed into our new adidas training kit, the players moved into the gym for testing with the coaching staff.
