Ruben Amorim and his Manchester United players returned to a new-look Carrington on Wednesday morning following the completion of Tour 2025, presented by Snapdragon.
The Reds enjoyed 12 days in the USA and played three matches, against West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton.
After lifting the Premier League Summer Series trophy on Sunday night, the squad flew home to Manchester to resume preparations for the 2025/26 season.
While away in the States, the refurbishment of our Carrington training complex was completed and the players have now moved in.
The innovative new facility will officially open with a ribbon-cutting event on Friday. Fans will be able to enjoy exclusive content across our official platforms.
‘BEST IN CLASS’
In an interview with MUTV in Atlanta, chief executive Omar Berrada looked forward to Friday’s official unveiling and discussed the impact it will have on our teams.
“For sure, it is a really important milestone for us,”
said the United CEO.
“We have invested a lot in improving the facilities, it is going to be best in class and really second to none in the world of sports.
“We are going to open it on Friday and we are very proud of what it's going to look like. I have no doubt that it is going to positively impact the performance of our teams.”
‘PERFECT TIMING’
Moving into a new facility at Carrington only adds to the momentum and positive vibe that has been built so far this summer, as Ruben told us in Chicago last week.
“It's like a new start with different standards and I think to go to our building, to the new building is like a fresh start,”
explained the boss.
“So, I think the timing is completely perfect to do everything. The good thing is that everybody's aligned on what we need to do and now it's to win games, game by game, try to win every game and the performances are really important as well.”
