Manchester United welcome Burnley to Old Trafford on Wednesday, as the Reds look to get back to winning ways after Sunday's disappointing loss to Liverpool.
It hasn't been long since the Reds and the Clarets last met in the Premier League, with goals from Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford wrapping up a 2-0 victory in our final fixture of 2019.
Ahead of kick-off, we've rounded up everything you need to know about our latest opponents...
TEAM NEWS
There are no fresh injury concerns for Sean Dyche, with Ashley Barnes still a number of weeks from a first-team return after he underwent a hernia operation. Barnes, who has scored in each of the last two meetings between the sides at Old Trafford, played 68 minutes in the reverse fixture at Turf Moor before being substituted. Johann Berg Gudmundsson hasn't featured since the Clarets' 4-2 win in the FA Cup over Peterborough United due to a thigh problem, but may travel to Manchester as part of the matchday squad after resuming training.
FORM GUIDE
Prior to last weekend, Burnley's form was something of a concern, with seven defeats from nine matches seeing Dyche's side slide from seventh to 15th in the Premier League table.
However, Sunday's success against Leicester City, which saw the Clarets come from behind to win 2-1, has eased any relegation fears, with a five-point buffer between them and danger going into the latest round of fixtures.
Their first league win since Christmas has instilled new-found confidence within the squad and they will be aiming to pull off a similar scalp when they make the short journey to Old Trafford on Wednesday. The Clarets have, however, won just two of their 11 games away from home this season, with those victories coming against Watford and Bournemouth.
OUR RECORD AGAINST BURNLEY
Since beating the Reds in September 1962, the Clarets' trips to Old Trafford have rarely been fruitful. Burnley are winless in their last 20 visits in all competitions, with United winning 12 of those matches. Our last three home meetings have yielded three consecutive draws, but Sean Dyche's side have thrown away a two-goal lead in each of the last two seasons.
Despite this great record, we have not been able to record a league double over Burnley since the 1975-76 campaign, which saw a 2-1 win at Old Trafford backed up by a 1-0 away success at Turf Moor.
THE MANAGER
The third-longest-serving manager in the top four divisions of English football, Dyche will be hoping to finally end his wretched record against United. The Burnley boss has beaten 26 of the 29 opponents he has faced in the Premier League, however a win against the Reds (as well as Arsenal and Sheffield United) remains elusive. In nine previous meetings between the sides, he has failed to ever come away with all three points.
ONES TO WATCH
Burnley's key man on Wednesday could very well be Chris Wood. Since August 2017, the New Zealand international has scored more Premier League goals than any other Burnley player (29). Wood also knows where the back of the net is against United, having struck in the Clarets’ 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last season.
As for us, Anthony Martial has scored in all three of his league games against Burnley, although all have been at Turf Moor. If he were to score on Wednesday, the Frenchman would join three former Reds who have scored in their first four league appearances for the club against a specific side – Ruud van Nistelrooy (v Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United), Wayne Rooney (v Newcastle) and Robin van Persie (v Stoke City).
