Manchester United Women's journey to the semi-finals of the 2023/2024 Adobe Women’s FA Cup has featured plenty of goals and competitive encounters.
This Sunday’s last-four fixture against Chelsea is poised to be full of more thrilling moments and exciting football, and United will be determined to make amends following our narrow loss to Emma Hayes’ side in the final at Wembley last season.

Our campaign kicked off with a comfortable 5-0 home victory against Newcastle United back in January. Ella Toone opened our tally in the 27th minute, shortly before assisting Nikita Parris in the 36th minute.
Parris soon netted another, and the pair were joined on the scoresheet by Rachel Williams and Melvine Malard.
However, the Saints had no intention of making it easy for United and defended resolutely before getting the equaliser in the 65th minute through Lexi Lloyd-Smith.
Ultimately, it was Williams who stole the headlines for the Reds and secured our spot in the quarter-final, scoring two headers in the 74th and 82nd minutes, to give us the 3-1 win.
The Reds stepped up, producing a brilliant performance spurred on by the support of a loyal contingent of fans who’d made the journey south.
Skinner described it as a
“total performance”, singling out Malard and Lisa Naalsund and praising their excellent offensive play. Both players got their names on the scoresheet, along with Parris and Lucia Garcia, in a dominant 4-0 win.

There have been eight players who have started all of our FA Cup fixtures so far: Mary Earps, Hannah Blundell, Irene Guerrero, Maya Le Tissier, Nikita Parris, Ella Toone, Millie Turner and Katie Zelem.
Gemma Evans, Melvine Malard and Rachel Williams have also featured in every round, either as substitutes or in Skinner's XI.
TOP SCORERS IN THE CUP
Parris and Williams both have three goals apiece in the competition so far and will be keen to add to their tally in Sunday’s semi-final. Toone has two, and Lucia Garcia, Malard, Naalsund and Turner have each scored once.
