Vote open: United Women's Player of the Month

The voting is now open to decide Manchester United Women's Player of the Month for November.

Melvine Malard, Jess Park, Jayde Riviere and Fridolina Rolfo are the four contenders for the prize, in recognition of their contributions across a month of highs and lows for the Reds.

Marc Skinner's side kicked it off with a spirited 3-2 victory away to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Barclays Women's Super League, but have since suffered the first defeats of our domestic season, to Aston Villa and Manchester City.

Our perfect start to the UEFA Champions League campaign was also ended with a loss away to Wolfsburg, but only after a thrilling triumph over Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford, the highlight of the team's month and a result that sees United remain inside the league-phase table's top four.

You can find the poll you need to cast your vote below, along with a summary of our nominees' key involvements across the five matches, should you need a reminder...

Poll: Who is your Women's Player of the Month for November?

MELVINE MALARD
Appearances: 3 (2) / Goals: 2 / Assists: 1

All five of Malard's goals before November came in the WSL - ensuring she topped the competition's scoring charts at the time - but we have since seen the French forward shine in Europe too.

Melvine's delightful left-footed finish at the Stretford End opened the scoring and set us on our way to beating PSG, while her delicate lob may have proved less crucial in the defeat at Wolfsburg, but perhaps equally as impressive.

There is an argument to say, however, that our no.9's best piece of play in the month wasn't a goal she scored, but rather one that she teed up. In Wolfsburg, Malard glided past Sarai Linder with tricky feet before producing a left-footed cross that was delivered with precision, and almost couldn't be missed at close range by Rolfo, who headed home our opener in the eventual 5-2 loss.

JESS PARK
Appearances: 4 (1) / Goals: 1 / Assists: 1

Jess is the holder of our Player of the Month award, and made an impression again in November, making her a contender to retain the crown.

The midfielder got a goal and an assist in a standout performance at Brighton, drilling home brilliantly with her left foot before later setting up Lisa Naalsund for the decisive effort in the 3-2 victory.

Our no.8's display against PSG also got fans talking. Park may have not directly contributed to either of our two strikes in the 2-1 win at Old Trafford, but was very much the architect for the winner with a dazzling piece of pass-and-move play that preceded Anna Sandberg's cross to Rolfo, who headed home.

JAYDE RIVIERE
Appearances: 5 / Goals: 0 / Assists: 1

The right-back was excellent against PSG and subsequently celebrated a Player of the Match double, winning our own club award for the night and UEFA's official accolade.

Riviere shut down our right flank, summed up by a late block to prevent Tara Elimbi Gilbert's attempted equaliser heading goalwards, and also got the assist for Malard's first-half opener with a searching ball forward.

Jayde was one of only three United Women players, alongside captain Maya Le Tissier and midfielder Hinata Miyazawa, to have started all five of our November matches. Her growing importance to Skinner's side is clear to see, with the 24-year-old in the XI for all but one of the team's 17 games so far this term.

FRIDOLINA ROLFO
Appearances: 3 (2) / Goals: 2 / Assists: 0

November might just have been the best month in a United shirt to date for Fridolina Rolfo, who is looking more and more at home in Manchester.

After opening her Reds account in October, away to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Fridolina boosted her increasing European goal tally by getting on the scoresheet against PSG and Wolfsburg.

Both were brilliant headers, after the Swede had drifted centrally from the left flank. Her conversion on Sandberg's cross at Old Trafford was enough to down Paris, while her opener away to former club Wolfsburg was emphatic, although unfortunately not enough to claim the points on that occasion.

Will it be Malard, Park, Riviere or Rolfo for you? Be sure to cast your vote in the poll above, and we'll announce the winner soon.
