United Women reach the FA Cup final

Manchester United Women will play in our third consecutive FA Cup final after we beat Manchester City 2-0 in this afternoon's semi-final.

Goals from Celin Bizet and Grace Clinton secured our passage after a dominated display against our crosstown rivals.

The Reds will face fellow WSL side Chelsea, as we did in the 2023 final, after the Blues beat Liverpool 2-1 in Saturday's other semi-final.

It was a blood and thunder effort from Marc Skinner's side as they recorded a second victory of the season over City away from home.

It's some achievement for Skinner and his side, who of course are looking to defend our crown following a 4-0 success over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium last year.

Wins over West Brom, Wolves and Sunderland and now Manchester City helped us reach this stage, scoring 18 goals along the way.

Our cup-final showdown against Sonia Bompastor's side will be played on Sunday 18 May 2025.

Our latest victory once again amplifies Skinner's superb record as manager in the competition, adding yet another capital visit to his United CV.

Looking to reclaim our Adobe Women's FA Cup crown would cap off a brilliant season for the Reds, with their still a chance of qualifying for next season's UEFA Women's Champions League up for grabs too.

Congratulations once again to United and we hope to see so many of you cheering us on at Wembley next month!
