Marc Skinner names Women's FA Cup final team

Marc Skinner has named his Mancheser United team for Sunday's Adobe Women's FA Cup final against Chelsea.

There were three changes from last weekend's trip to the Emirates Stadium in our final game of the WSL season.

Elisabeth Terland, top scorer with 12 goals across all competitions in her debut campaign for United, returns to the starting XI.

Aoife Mannion, who was suspenced for the Arsenal game, and Gabby George also get the nod at right-back and left-back respectively.

Ella Toone drops to the bench, with Grace Clinton, Hinata Miyazawa and Dominique Janssen chosen in midfield.

Clinton spent last season on loan with Tottenham Hotspur but was ineligible to play in last season's Wembley final against her parent club.

Melvine Malard and Anna Sandberg are the other two changes coming out of the team, but will hope to impact the game as substitutes later on.

With joint WSL Golden Glove winner Phallon Tullis-Joyce in goal, and the usual centre-back partnership of Millie Turner and captain Maya Le Tissier in front, United will be hoping for the defensive solidity that has underpinned our whole season.

Celin Bizet, who featured as an opposition player for Spurs 12 months ago, starts on the right flank, with Leah Galton on the left.

Marc Skinner has a nine-player bench available to him, which will surely also be an important factor to provide fresh energy and impetus.
