Manchester United Women's Under-21s have won the Professional Academy Plate after beating Durham 2-1 in this year's final.
Goals from Martha A and Sienna Wareing made sure of the victory, amid gleaming sunshine in the north east.
Our latest success follows our Under-21s' cup win in the same competition against Arsenal back in 2024.
Wareing was also awarded the Player of the Match accolade, for her efforts across the 90 minutes.
Marc Skinner has often utilised using our Academy players this season, given a gruelling schedule for his side.
“Manchester United is built on a legacy of youth and we are proud of our girls Academy programme,”said Director of women's football, Matt Johnson.
“Playing in finals is an important part of the players development and it was great to see them perform so well and win silverware.”
A huge congratulations on this occasion go to all the players and staff for their efforts across the season.
The future, as always, looks bright at United!
