It may be the international break, but the hard work hasn’t stopped at Carrington as a group of Manchester United players continue to train.
As you can see in the image above, Lisandro Martinez is involved as the popular defender continues to work on his fitness following a long-term knee injury.
Martinez was part of the ‘winning team’ in Tuesday’s training session, alongside his senior team-mate Joshua Zirkzee and six youth-team players.
The majority of United’s international players are set to return to Carrington on Friday morning, ready to begin preparations for our return to Premier League action.
Next up for Ruben’s Reds is an Old Trafford encounter against David Moyes’s Everton on Monday night.
Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 GMT and the action will be broadcast live in the UK via Sky Sports. MUTV’s Match Day Live programme will begin at 18:45 GMT.
TAKE A TOUR OF CARRINGTON
For the first time ever, United is opening the gates to Carrington and allowing fans the ultimate glimpse behind the curtain.
These unmissable training-ground experiences are due to take place during the off season in June and July 2026, and places are understandably limited.
Priced at £100, the package will begin with an all-access tour of Old Trafford, including the dressing rooms, tunnel, Museum and Megastore.
Fans will then board a club coach to Carrington to see the inner sanctum of United's day-to-day home.
