Own a Man Utd legend's shirt!

Manchester United fans now have the opportunity to own a signed match shirt from the Legends team match against Southampton in March.

Dimitar Berbatov, Antonio Valencia and Wes Brown were among the travelling squad to the south coast, where the Reds were 5-3 winners in an enthralling clash at St Mary’s.

The meeting marked 50 years since the Saints’ FA Cup triumph over United in the 1976 FA Cup final. Stuart Pearson, who played in that game, as well as the Reds’ success in the 1977 final against Liverpool the following year, joined the Legends set-up for the first time as assistant to manager Andy Ritchie.

Players’ shirts from the game are being auctioned to raise funds for the community work of Manchester United Foundation.

MATCHWORN-SHIRTS AUCTION

BID FOR LEGENDS' JERSEYS

Founded in 2007 as a lasting tribute to the Busby Babes, the Foundation delivers community outreach and education programmes to help young people in Manchester and other outreach areas in the United Kingdom to build a better life for themselves, by providing unique opportunities which extend far beyond just the football pitch.

By day, this includes working in more than 70 partner schools, while by night, free community football sessions are delivered for young people at more than 20 locations in areas of the highest social deprivation. The Foundation positively engaged more than 45,000 young people last season.

Antonio Valencia returned to the Legends' set-up for the south-coast clash.
