Cunha returns to training

Matheus Cunha was spotted with the Manchester United group who trained at Carrington on Wednesday.

Cunha took part in the preparations for Thursday's Premier League clash with West Ham United, having missed our two prior games in the competition.

The Brazil forward was ruled out of the home defeat to Everton last month, after picking up a knock in training.

Ruben Amorim said prior to that contest that he expected 'to have Matheus in the next one', and the boss could provide a further update on his likelihood of featuring in the 20:00 GMT kick-off during his pre-match press conference.

You can watch the boss's briefing across our platforms from 13:30 GMT, as he looks ahead to a meeting with compatriot Nuno Espirito Santo.

West Ham are aiming for a third straight league win against us for the first time since December 2007, having done the double in this fixture last term. However, the Reds will be out to make a positive start to the final month of the year.
