Carrick names team for Leeds encounter

Michael Carrick has selected his Manchester United side to face Leeds United at Old Trafford.

The Reds end a 24-day wait for a game by taking on our rivals across the Pennines in the 20:00 BST kick-off at Old Trafford.

Carrick's men are hoping to continue our 100 per cent record at home under the head coach, while Leeds are desperate for points to aid their bid to avoid relegation.

The big news is Lisandro Martinez returns to the XI at centre-back, in place of the suspended Harry Maguire.

The Argentina international has not featured since the 1-1 draw at West Ham United in February.

There are three other changes - Noussair Mazraoui is in for Diogo Dalot, Manuel Ugarte replaces Kobbie Mainoo, who is not in the squad after suffering a small issue in training, and Benjamin Sesko gets a start in attack. Bryan Mbeumo makes way for the Slovenia striker.

Shea Lacey is back among the substitutes for the first time since the 3-2 win over Fulham.
