Carrick names team to face Palace

Michael Carrick has selected his Manchester United side to take on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.

The in-form Reds can move into third spot in the Premier League table with a victory, following Aston Villa's 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday night.

Carrick has made one change to the line-up that started the win at Everton last time out, with the matchwinner Benjamin Sesko rewarded for his fine form.

February's Player of the Month leads the attack and makes his first start since the Emirates FA Cup tie against Brighton & Hove Albion, when he scored our consolation effort. His last league start yielded a double in the 2-2 away draw at Burnley, during Darren Fletcher's spell in interim charge.

Amad moves to the bench but could be an exciting weapon to appear at some stage of proceedings.

Youngsters Tyler Fletcher and Jack Moorhouse are also among the substitutes.

Palace also make one change, as Brennan Johnson, who scored Tottenham Hotspur's winner against us in the UEFA Europa League final last season, replaces Evann Guessand.
