Pundit Predictions: One change at Newcastle?

Hot on the heels of Sunday's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, Manchester United will look to carry on building momentum during Wednesday's Premier League fixture away to Newcastle United.

The 20:15 GMT kick-off at St James' Park is fast approaching, but there is still time for you to play the free United Predictions game in our app.

The aim is to score as many points as you can by trying to correctly guess the Reds' starting XI, first scorer and Man of the Match, as well as the final result.

Before we tell you more about the rules and prizes up for grabs, here's a look at the picks of former United defenders Phil Bardsley and Wes Brown...

PHIL BARDSLEY'S PREDICTIONS

Phil thinks Michael Carrick will make just the one change to his XI, predicting Noussair Mazraoui to come in at left-back for Luke Shaw, who the boss hopes will still be able to play a part on Wednesday despite being forced off in the first half of Sunday's win with illness.

Bardsley, who played for Newcastle's north-east rivals Sunderland between 2008 and 2014, is also expecting a star turn from Bryan Mbeumo.

Starting XI: Lammens; Dalot, Yoro, Maguire, Mazraoui; Casemiro, Mainoo; Mbeumo, Fernandes (c), Cunha; Sesko.

Correct score: Newcastle 1 United 2

First scorer: Bryan Mbeumo

Man of the Match: Bryan Mbeumo

WES BROWN'S PREDICTIONS

Wes also believes that Mazraoui will come into the team as a single alteration, but to replace Diogo Dalot at right-back.

Brown, also a former Sunderland representative, predicts Benjamin Sesko will add to his tally of seven goals in his last eight appearances, and that Sunday's Man of the Match Bruno Fernandes will pick up that particular club award again tonight.

Starting XI: Lammens; Mazraoui, Yoro, Maguire, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Mbeumo, Fernandes (c), Cunha; Sesko.

Correct score: Newcastle 1 United 2

First scorer: Benjamin Sesko

Man of the Match: Bruno Fernandes

Phil and Wes will be part of MUTV's team bringing you exclusive matchday coverage from 19:15 GMT on Wednesday.
