Ruben Amorim has named his Manchester United side to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers, in our final fixture of 2025.
The Reds face Rob Edwards's men for the second time this month, after a 4-1 away victory at Molineux.
The list of absentees has increased, with Mason Mount out, following a half-time withdrawal in the Boxing Day triumph over Newcastle United.
“He felt something but I think it’s small,”
Amorim told Sky Sports, when asked for an update on Mount. “I don’t think it will take a long time but you never know. Let’s focus on this game.”
It means there is one change to the XI that started against Newcastle, with Joshua Zirkzee drafted in.
Obviously, the formation is up for debate but it could be a flat back four, with Luke Shaw moving wider again, and Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu, Friday's matchwinner, pushing into a more attacking role.
Centre-forward Chido Obi is on a very young bench, making his first appearance in a matchday squad this term.
Lisandro Martinez retains the captaincy, in Bruno Fernandes's continued absence.
