Mourinho confirms United team to play Valencia

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has made four changes to his Reds XI for the Champions League game against Valencia.

The manager has gone with an attacking looking side to face the La Liga side in the Group H match at Old Trafford tonight, naming Romelu Lukaku, Alexis and Marcus Rashford in his line-up for United’s second match of the group phase.

As well as the return of Chilean striker Alexis and Rashford, who scored when coming on as a sub against West Ham at the weekend, the boss has also brought in club captain Antonio Valencia at right-back in place of the injured Ashley Young.

Rashford is in the starting line-up against Valencia after scoring a sublime goal as a sub at West Ham.

Eric Bailly comes back into the defence at the expense of Scott McTominay who played in a three-man rearguard against the Hammers. The youngster is on the bench along with Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial, who both started Saturday's 3-1 Premier League defeat at London Stadium.

United: De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Shaw; Matic, Fellaini, Pogba; Rashford, Alexis, Lukaku.
