Victor Musa is competing to win the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for March.
The Manchester United forward has been nominated for the latest prize after catching the eye with his efforts at Under-21 level.
He started all four league matches for our Under-21s during the month, playing all but seven minutes in those games.
It was an impressive month on a personal level for the 19-year-old, who scored three important goals for Adam Lawrence’s side.
Victor notched a double in the second half to help ensure the Reds beat Southampton 2-1 at Carrington on 13 March.
A week later, he netted the decisive goal in our 1-0 victory against Reading, during the first period at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Continuing his scoring form, the Spanish-born frontman - who joined the club in the summer of 2023 - was also on target with a header in our 3-1 defeat against Newcastle at the Progress With Unity Stadium last Friday evening.
The nominees for this award have been selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel, who will also decide the winner on a date to be decided.
Congratulations and good luck, Victor!
