Manchester United scored 10 goals across four pre-season friendlies this summer, but which was the best one? That’s the question we’re asking following Saturday’s 4-0 win over Everton.
Jesse Lingard completed an impressive team move to score our opener against Queens Park Rangers and that all-action match also featured an outstanding effort from young Anthony Elanga.
A poll to name our best goal of pre-season was seemingly pointless after the Brazilian’s volley, but then the match against Everton happened in front of 55,000 ecstatic supporters.
Mason Greenwood scored first with a strike from the angle before Harry Maguire produced a bullet header from Luke Shaw’s superb in-swinging corner.
The best was arguably at the end of the first half, however, when Bruno Fernandes fired a 25-yard free-kick into the top corner on his return to action. Diogo Dalot then added a cherry on top with a looping header late on.
So what do you think is our Goal of Pre-Season?
