Women's Player and Goal of the Month vote opens

The vote to decide Manchester United Women's Player of the Month for February is now open.

Melvine Malard, Jess Park, Phallon Tullis-Joyce and Julia Zigiotti form the quartet shortlisted for the prize, presented by Estee Lauder, after Marc Skinner's side won five of our six games in the month.

United secured league wins over Liverpool, Leicester City and London City Lionesses, while successfully overcoming Atletico Madrid with victories in both legs of our UEFA Champions League knockout play-off.

The Reds did end February's schedule by bowing out of the Adobe Women's FA Cup after an extra-time defeat to Chelsea in the fifth round, but it has still been a positive spell nonetheless, and we'll hope to get revenge on the Blues when we face them in March's Subway Women's League Cup final.

Below is the all-important poll you need to vote in, and a reminder of the key contributions from the four players who are vying for your pick...

Poll: Women's Player of the Month | Who gets your vote for February's award?

MELVINE MALARD
Appearances: 5 / Goals: 1 / Assists: 3

The energetic French forward missed our triumph over London City due to illness, but started United's other five fixtures in February, and was able to make her presence felt.

Malard's standout performance came away to Atletico Madrid, when her Player-of-the-Match-winning display helped us to take a 3-0 lead from the first leg in Spain.

Our no.9 scored the second of the three goals, either side of setting up the strikes from Elisabeth Terland and Zigiotti. That took her assist tally for the month up to three, after she had also played the pass that found Zigiotti before the midfielder scored with an intended cross at Leicester, five days earlier.

JESS PARK
Appearances: 6 / Goals: 2 / Assists: 1

The summer signing is continuing to shine for United, and could claim this prize for a fourth time this season, should she be successful in February's ballot.

Our winner for October, November and December teed up the first of Lisa Naalsund's two goals against Liverpool, and twice got herself on the scoresheet in impressive fashion, later in the month.

A fine solo run and curling finish at home to London City Lionesses made her our outright top scorer in the WSL this term, before an emphatic effort from a similar angle helped to down Atletico Madrid in the second leg of our Champions League tie.

PHALLON TULLIS-JOYCE
Appearances: 6 / Clean sheets: 3 / Goals conceded: 4

Park may have three of these trophies, but Tullis-Joyce is the holder after having her January contributions recognised with the gong.

The American goalkeeper's strong start to the year continued into February, with clean sheets against Leicester and Atletico Madrid (twice) taking her tally for the campaign up to 15 in 29 appearances.

Phallon made notable saves to deny former Reds midfielder Vilde Boe Risa and Synne Jensen in the two legs against Atletico - meaning she's registered eight shutouts in 10 European outings this season - while also producing big stops to thwart Erin Cuthbert and Lauren James in the FA Cup clash at Chelsea.

‘The boots are back on!’

JULIA ZIGIOTTI
Appearances: 5 (1) / Goals: 3 / Assists: 2

No United player racked up more direct goal involvements in February than the five totalled by 'Ziggi', who is having a real influence in attack for the Reds at present.

The midfielder has often been lauded for her defensive qualities throughout her first season at the club, having to wait until January for her first two goals, but she added to that count in February with an effort against Leicester and one in each leg of the Atletico triumph.

While enjoying scoring the goals, Zigiotti has also been able to use her tenacity to help her set a couple up. The midfielder stole the ball back high up the pitch in the moves that led to Naalsund's second versus Liverpool and Terland's late points-sealer at Leicester.

VOTE FOR GOAL OF THE MONTH

The Player of the Month poll is not the only February vote that you can help decide United Women's winner of.

Seven strikes are also up for the team's Goal of the Month accolade, with Naalsund's double and Fridolina Rolfo's clever finish against Liverpool featuring on the shortlist, which you can watch above.

Terland and Zigiotti's net-bulgers in the away win over Atleti are also included, as are Park's two curlers, that helped us down London City and Atleti again at home.

The voting is now open here and, as is the case with the Player of the Month prize, we will announce who has come out on top later this week.
