Who do United fans want in the Champions League draw?

Manchester United will find out which three teams will join us in our group for the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League this evening (17:00 BST).

The draw, which takes place at Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, will see eight groups created from four pots, which were confirmed on Wednesday night.

Due to United finishing third in the Premier League last season, we will be in Pot 2.

As rules dictate, teams cannot be drawn against another club from their country, and we cannot be drawn against a side from the same nation.

Pot 1 contains those that won league titles last season, such as Barcelona and Bayern Munich, with the domestic and European performance of clubs in 2022/23 dictates which pot they reside in for this year's draw.

Poll: Who do you want to draw from Pot One? Here are our options, in alphabetical order...

WHO YOU WANT FROM POT 1

In Pot 1, United could draw Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Benfica, Feyenoord, Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain or Sevilla.

A whopping 50 per cent of voters would like us to face Eredivisie champions Feyenoord, with Barcelona the second-most popular choice amongst United fans (13 per cent).

Due to facing Real Betis as well as Sevilla in the Europa League last term, we travelled to Seville twice in the 2022/23 season - as well as our winter training camp. Ten per cent of poll voters appear to keen on yet another away clash in southern Spain.

WHO YOU WANT FROM POT 3

Pot 3 contains Italian giants AC Milan, reigning Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade and Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, among others.

In our poll, however, Danish outfit FC Copenhagen are the team that United supporters would most like to face from this respective pot.

Thirty-three per cent of you would like to see a clash against one of new signing Rasmus Hojlund's former sides, while Red Star Belgrade emerged as a popular choice - with 22 per cent.

WHO YOU WANT FROM POT 4

The final pot that we can draw opposition from this evening features Newcastle United (who we can't draw due to rules), Scottish giants Celtic and Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray.

But it is Belgian side Royal Antwerp - who many former Reds such as Danny Simpson played for on loan a number of years ago - that our fans would most like to meet in the Champions League group stage, collecting 29 per cent of the vote.

A meeting with Swiss outfit Young Boys was backed by 21 per cent of our fans, while a trip to Parkhead was preferred by 19 per cent.
