Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst says everyone at the club is hungry to win even more trophies after February’s Carabao Cup win.
But getting into the final four is just one step forward to reaching Wembley for the final, which is exactly where Weghorst wants to be.
“Of course, we want to be there,”he explains in an interview for United Review.
“The match against Newcastle [Carabao Cup final] at Wembley was a great experience - a lovely atmosphere in the stadium - it has something special.
“But, like I said, that’s what we want. We want to win trophies.
“The one we have now just showed us that we can do it again; we are all hungry for more, all of us.“
“The FA Cup is definitely in our head to go to Wembley again, and not only play in the semi and the final, but to win it.”
“It was my first trophy,”he said. “When we won it and the trophy was ours, I took a moment to enjoy it and I saw the crowd. These are the moments you will remember, and that is why I did it.”
Weghorst continued: “I have worked for my whole career to reach the top, top level in the world.
“For me I notice now, our club – Manchester United – is definitely one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“I’m just proud and happy to be here.”
Weghorst's full interview will be available to view in Sunday's matchday programme, that can be bought at Old Trafford.
