‘Emotional’, ‘heart-warming’ and ‘inspiring’ are just some of the word United fans are using to describe our latest Lifeblood film, starring the incomparable Sir Alex Ferguson.
This new release follows Sir Alex at the Academy’s annual Celebration Event at Old Trafford, where he caught up with alumni – including priest Phil Mulryne - presented awards and inspired the next generation of talented young Reds.
After a period of exclusivity on MUTV, ‘Lifeblood: United at Heart’ was released on our official YouTube channel and the comments section is lighting up with positive reviews. You can read a sample of them here...
@tenzinlekdup1701: I got a bit emotional seeing the boss at the club, still so full of enthusiasm and inspiring. Good health to you, Sir.
@PeterSmith-go9ef: Just to see the way he interacts with people is a clue to the man who made the manager. His favourite quote was
“character is destiny.”I felt so emotional watching this, great video.
@NasalFtw: Sir Alex is the GOAT. I shed a tear when they were presenting him on stage.
@gezusgh: Cherish this man as long as we can!
@SeamusOReilly230: I really appreciate this series, it’s what makes the club.
@amarafaitho: I shed tears. Love this club.
@mufc-s: Every single one of us loves Alex Ferguson.
@Viszwak: The kid Jaume's mentality is top class for a 13 year old. I hope we get to see him at OT one day!
@daveuk3: What a very bright intelligent and pleasant young man that chaperone was.
@qamalazlan3128: Funny seeing Rooney coming as parent.
@no9scrum: It's actually really cool to see Wayne Rooney just being there as a parent and not getting dragged into doing something just because he's there.
