How do I buy tickets for matches at Old Trafford?

Match tickets for Premier League games at Old Trafford are sold exclusively to Official Members. If you are a Member already, you can check availability and purchase tickets when they are on sale at manutd.com/tickets. If tickets for the game you are hoping to attend are not available, you can register your interest so that we can notify you if further tickets do become available for sale. Match tickets for all Premier League games excluding Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur go on sale at the start of the season, but please be aware that not all tickets are made available at this time, with more tickets becoming available any time before the game (subject to availability).

For games against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, Official Members need to make a ballot application for the chance to be successful in obtaining tickets; this is due to the high demand for these games. How do I buy tickets for away games?

Due to the high demand for tickets to away games, applications are accepted by Executive Club Members, and eligible Platinum, Gold and Silver Level Season Ticket holders only.  Applications are generally accepted four weeks before the games and supporters who make applications are notified of their results by email. How do I buy a Season Ticket, and what does this involve?

Season Tickets for last season sold out in record time. To be in with a chance of becoming a Season Ticket holder for next season, join the Season Ticket Waiting List at manutd.com/stwl. Priority for Season Tickets when they go on sale will be given to Official Members who have paid a deposit for a Season Ticket – to find out more about deposits (the cost of which will be deducted from the cost of your Season Ticket) please call +44 161 676 7770

When you purchase your Season Ticket, you will pay for your seat for the 19 home Premier League games, and card details will be taken, from which we will automatically deduct the cost of home cup games at Old Trafford. As per the Season Ticket terms and conditions (available at manutd.com/terms), tickets for FA Cup and UEFA Champions League competitions are compulsory with your Season Ticket, although you can opt out of home games in the EFL Cup and Europa League (if applicable) on a seasonal or match-by-match basis.

How do I renew and pay for my Season Ticket?


Season Ticket renewals will usually open in the New Year, and run until the end of the season. Exact dates of the renewal window will be communicated to you by the Club once each season’s sales arrangements have been confirmed. For more information on this, please visit manutd.com/renew or call +44 161 868 8000.

You can make payment for your Season Ticket over the phone, online at manutd.com/tickets or by visiting Ticketing & Membership Services at Old Trafford. You can pay by cash, credit/debit card, or can pay in monthly instalments with a finance plan by V12. How do I buy tickets in the away end for a game at Old Trafford?

Manchester United only sell tickets to our own supporters and visiting clubs sell their own allocation of tickets themselves.

Does my child or baby need a match ticket?

Yes, every supporter needs a ticket to access the stadium, regardless of their age. It is not advisable to bring a young baby to a game as it can be very noisy, but if you do we suggest that you provide them with ear protectors.

What's the minimum age for a fan attending a game alone?

Manchester United recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children visiting Old Trafford and has a commitment to practice which protects them. As part of this commitment we have reviewed the minimum age of which a child can attend a game without being accompanied by another individual. This review has involved consultation with other Premier League clubs, Trafford Local Authority and stakeholders across Manchester United.

Any child under age 14 must be accompanied by an individual age 16 or over. All children who are aged 14 on or before 31st August 2021 will be able to apply for junior tickets without an accompanying adult.



Can I use a lift to access my seats if I cannot manage the upstairs?

Yes, lifts are available for supporters who cannot manage stairs to their seats in Tiers 2 and 3. Please report to your turnstile and request to use the lifts. You do not need to give us advanced warning.
