HOW DO I GET TO LEIGH?
Coach travel: Return coach travel to Leigh Sports Village from Old Trafford is available to book online at oneclubunited.co.uk.
Driving: Leigh Sports Village is situated approximately half-way between Manchester and Liverpool. 3 minutes from the A580, 8 minutes from M6 Junction 23 (Haydock Park), and 14 minutes from M60 Junction 14. If you are travelling to the stadium via car, you can use the post code WN7 4JY. Local roads around Leigh Sports Village can get very busy on matchdays so please plan ahead.
Parking: All car parking for Leigh Sports Village is available on a first come, first served basis. Limited allocate accessible spaces are available to season ticket holders via a pre season ballot. There are 1,000 onsite parking spaces, including further unreserved blue-badge bays which are allocated on a first come first served basis. There are also a number of car parks located approximately 10-15 minutes’ walk away from Leigh Sports Village. Please visit leighsportsvillage.co.uk for further information.
Public transport: Leigh Sports Village is also accessible by public transport. Leigh bus station is located in Leigh town centre and is a 10-minute walk from the stadium. The 597 bus service runs from the town centre to the stadium but this is a weekday-only service. The V1 guided busway service operates from Manchester City Centre and Salford to Leigh bus station the timetable can be found on the TFGM website [V1 | Bee Network | Powered by TfGM]. The nearest train stations are Atherton (4.2 miles), Newton-le-Willows (5.3 miles) and Wigan North Western on the West Coast mainline (7.9 miles) you can find details of connecting bus services on leighsportsvillage.co.uk.
Walking: If you are travelling by foot from Leigh Bus Station, proceed to walk down King Street continuing onto St. Helens Road, past ALDI, over the bridge on St. Helens Road and turn right onto Schofield Street. Continue on Schofield Street and this will bring you to the corner of Marshall Street, at the back of the Leigh Sports Village site. Approach Turner Way and take the first exit on the roundabout, which will bring you out next to the Leigh Harriers Athletics Stadium at the North East corner of the LSV stadium.
ACCESSIBILITY
Leigh Sports Village offers suitable seating for both wheelchair and ambulant supporters. Amenity seating is located within general seating areas, and all areas of the stadium have access to accessible toilets and refreshment kiosks. There are also raised wheelchair positions in the West and East Stands and pitch side wheelchair positions in all stands.
