A closer look at our electric new third kit

To start off, you may or may not have seen the similarities between the 2021/22 third kit and the 1993/94 away kit, which featured a brilliant colour palette of black, blue and yellow.

Alongside adidas, we have reintroduced that colour palette this season as a nod to the icons that wore it back then, such as Eric Cantona.

Of course, this iteration comes with some contemporary updates and is set to be donned by the icons of now, with the likes of Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho et al sporting the eye-catching jersey.

There are two versions of this away kit, both of which are fabricated from a blend of recycled materials that adidas refer to as Primegreen. So not only will you be looking fly in this jersey, you’ll also be doing your part to save the planet!

The replica version utilises AEROREADY technology, which works by wicking moisture away from your body to ensure you’re fresh and cool whilst wearing it, ideal both on and off the pitch.

The authentic version utilises thermo-regulatory technology to keep all who wear it at an optimum body temperature so that you’re quite literally the coolest around.

The intricate pattern that decorates this kit is actually the letter ‘M’ that has been engineered into the fabric to act as a subtle nod to the great times that culture of the club, city, and the 1990s provided.
