Rangnick reveals squad absentee
Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick believes Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to miss the Premier League matches with Brentford and West Ham United.
The right-back is still sidelined with the illness that ruled him out of the 2-2 draw at Aston Villa on Saturday.
Diogo Dalot played at Villa Park and will be a strong contender to feature against the Bees in our first visit to the Brentford Community Stadium tonight (Wednesday).
West Ham visit Old Trafford on Saturday, in a 15:00 GMT kick-off, before a break in fixtures due to the international calendar.
It means we may not see Wan-Bissaka back in the squad until the Emirates FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to Middlesbrough on Friday 4 February.
When asked by MUTV's Stewart Gardner if Aaron might be available for the trip south to the capital, the boss replied: “No, not yet. He’s still ill, I’m afraid.
“He will not be available for the game tomorrow and also probably not available for the West Ham game. Hopefully, after the international break, he will be back for training.”
The defender has made 15 starts in the Premier League this term, taking his overall tally to 84 appearances for the Reds in the competition.
