Wan-Bissaka can kick on in fifth United campaign
Aaron Wan-Bissaka became a Manchester United player exactly four years ago today (29 June), when he completed his transfer from Crystal Palace to Old Trafford.
Having now racked up 160 appearances for the Reds in all competitions, Aaron's terrific defensive abilities have helped solidify his reputation as a reliable member of United's backline.
Although he missed the early months of our 2022/23 campaign, the 25-year-old went on to establish himself as a key player in the latter part of Erik ten Hag's debut season.
Wan-Bissaka's ability to keep some of the Premier League's trickiest customers quiet down our right flank is something we all have become accustomed to seeing. Our no.29 featured heavily as the Reds registered five clean sheets in our final ten league games.
Further back, many fans will remember his superb performance against Manchester City in January, when his tireless running and impressive ball carrying played a huge part in our eventual 2-1 success over the Blues in M16.
And who could forget Aaron's Man-of-the-Match display in the away clash with Palace, in which he single handedly thwarted Wilfried Zaha's late breakaway as his former team-mate seemed certain to score.
“He has improved a lot, as many players have improved during the season,” Erik told us back in May, when asked about Aaron's impressive form.
“That's one of the jobs for a manager and the coaching staff, to get that done and we are really happy with it, that players are developing.”

And with United's return for pre-season almost upon us, we can't wait to see how Aaron can further build on last term's ascent, as the Reds gear up for a much-anticipated return to Champions League football.
