adidas and United unveil the Icons Range
After the Reds embarked on our European adventure with an eye-catching new training collection, we’re excited to announce the expertly crafted Icons range.
In collaboration with adidas, this collection will take your wardrobe up another level.
The Icons range on United Direct is a modern collection with real heritage vibes, ribbed collars, and bold designs that offer a '90s throwback feel, with the collection consisting of a crewneck jumper, short-sleeved T-shirt, woven jacket, and woven pants.
To kick things off, we’ve got Tom Heaton styling out the Icons Crew Sweater in Black. Offering a regular fit, this long-sleeve crewneck is made from a blend of cotton, and recycled French terry polyester, which means it’s super comfortable.
It provides a regular fit, and the detailed ribbed collar makes it an eye-catching jumper that can be worn daily, making it a great rotational option. High-quality and detailed adidas embroidered branding sits at the centre of the chest to alleviate the style, dialling up the retro look.
The Icons Woven Jacket is the perfect daily jacket thanks to its durable nylon ripstop build, which makes it both comfortable and durable.
It also incorporates a full zip closure, which allows for effortless styling, as well as two front pockets and elasticated trimmings. The electric yellow accents coupled with the eye-catching United branding make this functional jacket a no-brainer.
The Icons T-Shirt in Blue is an everyday wardrobe staple, thanks to its clean design and comfortable cotton build.
As seen here being worn by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the adidas-branded collar gives off serious retro feels, and an embroidered trefoil logo signs off this signature piece in style.
And finally, complement your kick game with a pair of the Icons Woven Pants, which are the last piece of the puzzle in this nostalgic capsule.
Similar to the Woven Jacket, these pants are made from a durable but comfortable nylon ripstop, which means they’re going to withstand whatever life may throw at them.
The yellow, black and blue colour palette also means they’re super easy to match with different outfit combinations.
