Alejandro Garnacho made hIs first appearance for Manchester United's senior side, as he featured late on during our 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Old Trafford.

The forward, who joined the club from Atletico Madrid back in 2020, replaced Anthony Elanga in the final stages and was greeted with tremendous applause.

Having enjoyed a superb season thus far with the Under-23s and Under-18s, the Argentina squad member was also rewarded with his international call-up last month during La Albiceleste's recent bout of World Cup qualifiers.

Late in the match, Alejandro Garnacho became the latest Academy graduate to make his senior debut...

The Reds were unable to snatch a late winner in front of the Stretford End but it will remain a special experience for the teenager.

The forward is also likely to feature in Travis Binnion's side in the upcoming FA Youth Cup final against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford next month, having helped United reach this stage, finding the net five times and sparkling in his outings at the Theatre of Dreams.

Fellow youngsters Alvaro Fernandez, Shola Shoretire and Hannibal were also selected on Ralf Rangnick's bench, with eight first-team players ruled out.

With just three games now remaining until the end of the campaign, there could still be more action for the winger, with Brentford up next on Bank Holiday Monday.

Congratulations, Alejandro!
