Garnacho celebrates 50 appearances for the Reds
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho brought up a personal milestone following his appearance against Fulham, with the 19-year-old having now turned out 50 times for the Reds.
The Academy graduate joined the club from Atletico Madrid back in 2020 and enjoyed a breakthrough campaign under Erik ten Hag last season, scoring important goals against Real Sociedad and Fulham.
He opened his account for 2023/24 with a strike against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup and has continued to go from strength-to-strength.
His debut came against Chelsea in our 1-1 draw back in April 2022, with his international bow for Argentina against Australia following on just 14 months later.
Garnacho shines in 50th game
Player highlights | Alejandro Garnacho was a key threat for the Reds in his 50th appearance for the club...
His exemplary ball control and electric pace make him a tricky customer for most full-backs he faces up against, with his defensive duties another strong point.
In total, Garna has netted six goals and registered five assists as he reaches his half-century of appearances for the club, with hopefully many more to come.
Having also celebrate his first honour as part of the first team, as we claimed the Carabao Cup last season, Garnacho still has time to add more and more silverware to his collection.
Congratulations, Alejandro. Here's to the next 50 as a Red!
