Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has been named Player of the Month for December.

The 19-year-old has scooped back-to-back monthly awards for the first time in his United career, having also claimed the accolade for his performances in November.

Alejandro scored two goals and registered two assists across the month, which included a Man-of-the-Match display against Aston Villa in our comeback victory at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.

Garnacho's brace preceded Rasmus Hojlund's winner, as the Reds came out on top in a five-goal thriller, after going in two down at half-time.

Player highlights | Quick, incisive and deadly in the final third, Alejandro Garnacho was on fire against Aston Villa...

Alejandro garnered a whopping 64 per cent of the vote, beating fellow Academy graduates Jonny Evans and Kobbie Mainoo to December's prize.

It is also the first time this season that one player has won the award in consecutive months, as the Argentinian continues to go from strength to strength.

Garna's two assists in December further amplify his contribution for the side, as we look to kick on in 2024.

His first came against Chelsea as he teed up Scott McTominay to power home the winning goal in front of the Stretford End.

A delightful cross into the box was met superbly by our no.39, as we posted the triumph over Mauricio Pochettino's men in M16.

The second followed right at the end of the month, in our final outing of 2023, teeing up Marcus Rashford to score at The City Ground for the equaliser in our 2-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest.

Erik ten Hag's side return to action against Wigan in the FA Cup on Monday evening, looking to begin the new year with progression to the fourth round of the competition.

Garnacho's flair out wide is continuing to prove a real asset for the Reds this season, and it is something we hope he can replicate in 2024.

Congratulations, Alejandro on another award!
