The 30-year-old is heading to Saudi Premier League outfit Al-Nassr, after making a total of 50 first-team appearances for the Reds.

Alex has departed for Saudi Arabia after 50 appearances for the club.

Telles signed for United from Porto back in October 2020 and memorably scored a wonderful goal against Villarreal in September of 2021 - his only strike for the Reds.

Set for pastures new, the Brazil international posted on Instagram to thank United's fans for their loyal support over the years.
''Effort, hard work, dedication, talent, dedication, faith,'' began Alex on social media.

''I don't know any different recipe in life to achieve and carry out our projects. When I arrived at United, I realised my dream of playing in one of the biggest clubs in the world.

''A giant with some amazing fans. A city where I made friends and was very happy. Today, I close this incredible chapter in my journey, but, rest assured that, as I always did in my career, I honoured every moment of training and every second of every game with the United shirt.

''Thank you, Manchester, thank you, United.''
