Alyssa Aherne returns from loan spell at Everton

Manchester United Women winger Alyssa Aherne has been recalled from her loan spell at Everton, as we seek further development opportunities for her elsewhere.

The 19-year-old signed her first professional contract with the club in May, after graduating from our Academy, which she joined at the age of 13.

Aherne is unable to join the first team in Malta due to illness. The Reds will play PSV Eindhoven in a friendly there at 18:00 local time (17:00 GMT) today.
