Bruno excelling in distance-covered stats
We all know Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes never stops running.
The Reds captain wants to be available for every minute of every single game and his work-rate has long been championed.
The Premier League has released stats for distance covered across the first four rounds of the 2023/24 season and, unsurprisingly, our no.8 scores really highly in this regard.
Fernandes's figure of 46.84 km is only bettered by Tottenham's Dejan Kulusevski, with the Sweden international coming out on top after his role in Spurs' fine start to the campaign.
Bruno is next best, though, ahead of the likes of Arsenal new boy Declan Rice and Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Fresh from a couple of stellar performances for Portugal in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, our skipper will be keen to put in more hard yards when Brighton & Hove Albion come to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon (15:00 BST).
