Bruno: Now we have to build momentum
Bruno Fernandes highlighted the team spirit shown by his Manchester United team-mates, after the Reds left it late to grab all three Premier League points at Craven Cottage.
Following in the footsteps of Alejandro Garnacho at Craven Cottage last season, Bruno was the hero this time around, as he netted a stoppage-time winner for the visitors in a tight-contested affair.
Sparking wild scenes in the process, our 'Portuguese Magnifico' popped up with a vital strike on his 200th appearance for the club, as we returned to winning ways in fine fashion.
Expressing his delight to our MUTV cameras following the win, Bruno explained that above all, bringing three vital points back to Manchester was the most important thing.
Bruno reacts to Reds victory
Bruno Fernandes says the Reds must use our last-gasp victory against Fulham as a stepping stone moving forward...
“Obviously we wanted to win in a different way. We could have created more chances. The last pass, the last moment of when we reach the box, we didn't always decide well.
“But we got our win and we got our goal so that is the most important [thing].”
Bruno added how building momentum, heading into that tricky test in Denmark, can add fuel to the group for our future endeavours moving forward.
“Now we know how important it is to get the three points in the Champions League and it will be a tough game because we have already played them at home.
“They are well organised, [a] difficult team to go through, but we hope to get the three points there and we will do everything we can to get three points to go through there.”
