When awards are being dished out, Bruno Fernandes is usually in the frame and that was the case again for our first Goal of the Month accolade this season.

The brilliant midfielder may have missed out to Mason Greenwood for our individual player prize for August, but it was his hat-trick clincher against Leeds United, during the opening weekend, that beat off competition from the other eight strikes on the shortlist to land our other monthly gong.

See the stunning strike that has landed Bruno Fernandes another accolade...

Bruno picked up our Goal of the Season award at the end of last term, for a masterful effort against Everton, and clearly has designs on retaining the trophy this time around judging by his lightning start against Leeds.

Springing the offside trap to latch onto Victor Lindelof's through ball, he lashed a searing drive past Illan Meslier to seal his treble during the emphatic 5-1 win at Old Trafford.

The goal registered double the percentage of the strike in second place, Greenwood's key intervention during the Leeds opener, with Mason's winner at Wolves in third spot.

1st: 40% - Bruno Fernandes (v Leeds, his 3rd goal)
2nd: 20% - Mason Greenwood (v Leeds)
