Mbeumo: Old Trafford is just crazy
Bryan Mbeumo says the team comes first after his two goals helped illuminate a "crazy" Old Trafford, during the 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Our summer signing from Brentford bagged his first double for the Reds and is looking increasingly at home in Ruben Amorim's side.
When asked by MUTV what he wanted to talk about first, his brace or the team display, the Cameroon international was clear in his response.
"The team performance, obviously first," he said. "I'm very pleased with the win today. Everyone made the effort and fight for each other and, yeah, at the end, it was a good result.
"We are working on the link-ups in training and try to replicate it on the pitch."
Mbeumo: Training work is paying off
Bryan Mbeumo is asked about his two goals as he explains the secret behind our good form…
Mbeumo could not choose between his two strikes on the evening in terms of his preference, as he was also interviewed by Sky Sports.
"I think both of them," he admitted. "A goal is a goal, I would say. I'm very happy with this great teamwork as well. Benji [Sesko] gave me a top ball and Ayden [Heaven] for Bruno, who just let it go for me. I'd seen a big gap but obviously I didn't know that Ayden was going to put it through. Luckily, it happened and I'm happy to score.
"I'm generally very happy."
The noise generated at the Theatre of Dreams continues to astound the African attacker.
"Honestly, it's so good," he said. "The atmosphere is crazy here. The fans are unbelievable. It is always good to score but especially here.
"With the goals, even when we have the ball, when we win a tackle.
"When we win a throw-in, win a foul. Everything is great here and I wish we could play every game here."
