Carabao Cup: Who could be next for Luton or United?
The draw for the Carabao Cup fourth round has been made, giving Manchester United and Luton Town a glimpse of what could await the winners of Tuesday's third-round meeting at Kenilworth Road.
Next up for the Reds or the Hatters will be an away tie against either Preston North End or Brighton & Hove Albion, to be played in the week commencing Monday 28 September.
For United, that means the cup game would fall between the Premier League fixtures away to Brighton and at home to Tottenham Hotspur, just prior to October's international break.

Should the Reds and the Seagulls win our respective third-round ties, it would therefore mean two visits to the Amex Stadium for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the space of a few days. The cup game would be the 25th meeting between the clubs and the third in this particular competition, after United won a two-legged tie against Brighton back in 1992/93.
If the Reds and Preston end up facing each other, it would be a 77th clash overall and the 40th at Deepdale. That's where the teams last met, five years ago, when Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and Wayne Rooney all scored as United won 3-1 in the FA Cup.

Our campaign to win the competition for a sixth time overall, and the first time since 2017, begins with that third-round trip to Luton next week.
