Newcastle cup date confirmed
Details of Manchester United's Carabao Cup fourth-round tie with Newcastle United have been announced.
The Reds continued our run of home domestic draws under Erik ten Hag, following the 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
However, the holders will face another tough test, against the side we defeated in last February's final at Wembley, with the Magpies, no doubt, itching for revenge and in good heart after dumping Manchester City out of the competition.
The Old Trafford encounter with Eddie Howe's men will take place on Wednesday 1 November, kicking off at 20:15 GMT.
It is live on Sky Sports, with the channel also showing West Ham United versus Arsenal on the same night, with that London derby starting at 19:30 GMT.
The cup clash is sandwiched between our big game with Manchester City on Sunday 29 October and the following weekend's early kick-off at Fulham.
It will kickstart a month that includes a number of matches on the road, including UEFA Champions League trips to FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray.
