Sunday's Man of the Match revealed
Manchester United's thrilling 3-2 success against Fulham threw up a number of candidates for the Man of the Match award.
Fans voted in the United App for their top performer, after goals from Casemiro, Matheus Cunha and, in the fourth minute of injury time, Benjamin Sesko, accounted for the Cottagers.
It made it three wins out of three for head coach Michael Carrick, since he took charge, and lifted the Reds back into fourth spot in the Premier League table.
Casemiro came out on top, despite being withdrawn in the 75th minute for Manuel Ugarte, after registering a goal and an assist.
It was his header that opened the scoring, from Bruno Fernandes's free-kick, and a cheeky no-look pass freed Cunha for our second effort of the afternoon.
Accomplished in midfield, his display drew adulation from the crowd in the first home match since he announced he is leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season.
After picking up a yellow card for a foul on Emile Smith Rowe, he was withdrawn by Carrick and received a standing ovation, when heading to the dugout.
Our no.18 logged 44 per cent of the vote, to emerge as a clear winner.
Skipper Fernandes, who made two assists to take his tally in this field to 12 in 2025/26, finished in second spot on 25 per cent, as he did superbly to create the winner for Sesko.
Our Slovenian substitute finished in third, gaining 11 per cent, after also hitting the woodwork, before his emphatic finish earned three precious points.
