United XI handed Chester date
A Manchester United XI is set to face Chester in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday 24 July.
The 19:30 BST kick-off represents a second successive summer visit to the Deva Stadium and tickets are on sale now.
Adults are priced at £12, with concessions available for £10. Fans aged 18-21 will pay £5, 12-17 year-olds are to be charged £3 and under-12s are free if they attend with a paying adult.
The United supporters have initially been allocated the Mike Metcalf (West) Stand.
Last year's game ended in a 4-0 victory for the Reds, courtesy of goals from Shola Shoretire (2), Charlie McNeill (2) and Noam Emeran.
Teden Mengi, Willy Kambwala and Hannibal were among the starters that evening, and it will be interesting to see which players feature this time around.
The friendly should provide ideal preparation for the new Premier League 2 season, and also the EFL Trophy, after Travis Binnion's side were drawn with Barnsley, Doncaster Rovers and Huddersfield Town in the group stage.
Any further details on the Academy pre-season programme will be disclosed in due course.
